What data we process
Data you give us. When you fill in a contact or enquiry form: your name, phone number or email, the message you write, and a record that you accepted this policy. If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we process whatever data you choose to share in that conversation.
Data generated automatically. Our server logs your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the page requested and your browser type. These logs keep the site running and help detect abuse. They are kept for a maximum of twelve months.
Browsing data through cookies. Explained in the Cookie Policy, which forms part of this document.
We do not process special categories of data — health, beliefs, ethnic origin or others — and we ask you not to include them in your messages.
Children. This site is not aimed at children under fourteen and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

You may withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
How long we keep your data
Enquiries: three years from our last contact with you, then deleted.
Client data under contract: for the duration of the relationship and thereafter for the periods required by tax, commercial and anti-money-laundering legislation.
Server logs: twelve months maximum.
Data processed with your consent for marketing: until you withdraw that consent.
Who else has access
We do not sell your data or transfer it to third parties for commercial purposes. Access is limited to the providers we need in order to operate, all bound by a data processing agreement:

Transfers outside the European Economic Area. Email is handled through Google, which may process data in the United States. This transfer relies on the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission for the United States (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) and, alternatively, on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data may also be disclosed to courts or law enforcement where required by law.
Third-party services embedded in the site
Maps. Property pages show a map served by the OpenStreetMap Foundation. The map loads only when you scroll down to it; at that point your browser connects to their servers, which receive your IP address. If you never reach the map, no connection is made.
WhatsApp. The site includes a link to message us on WhatsApp. Clicking it takes you out of our site and into a service operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., under their own privacy policy.
Favourites. The list of properties you mark as favourites is stored only in your browser. It is not sent to our servers, is not linked to you as a person, and disappears if you clear your browsing data.
Your rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access — find out what data of yours we hold.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete data no longer needed.
- Restriction — ask us to suspend processing.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured format.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time.
How to exercise them. Write to info@alexhomeinvest.com or to Carrer Llinares, 3, 03010 Alicante, stating which right you are exercising. We will ask you to prove your identity. We reply within one month, extendable to two where the request is complex.
Complaints. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, or through www.aepd.es.
Automated decision-making
We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: TLS-encrypted connections, restricted access to the administration panel, regular backups and access control. No system is infallible, but we undertake to notify any security breach in accordance with Article 33 GDPR.
Changes
We may amend this policy to reflect legal changes or new services. The applicable version is the one published on the site at the time of your visit, with its update date shown.
